FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: method of generating electric energy during the movement of railway vehicles is that under the rail or next to the rail there is a round permanent magnet and a coil with an electrical winding located inside this magnet. The coil and the permanent magnet are connected by means of a flexible joint, which provides the coil with spatial displacement relative to the magnet. When vibrations come from the passing train and occur due to the mass difference, the coil and the magnet vibrate at different frequencies, which results in a spatial displacement of the coil relative to the magnet. Voltage is generated in the electrical winding of the coil. It is accumulated by means of an electric energy storage device. The independent maintenance-free vibration power supply source for the railway automation elements includes a coil and a permanent magnet, which have a flexible joint and are placed in a common housing.
EFFECT: increased efficiency of electric power generation during railway transport motion.
