FIELD: process engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to synthesis of sorbents to be used in biological media and analytical chemistry. Invention covers method of producing biocompatible sorbents based of porous styrene polymers and divinylbenzene with modified surface, Polymer is modified by 0.1-0.2 wt %-solution of 6-methyluracil at polymer-to-6-methyluracil ratio equal to 10:1.Then, water is evaporated at 50-70°C.

EFFECT: sorbent with properties of molecular sieve and high sorption activity.
