FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: proposed device consists of hub with holes to be secured to wheel rim with L-like posts arranged along hub edges and made up of post case representing hollow cylinder accommodating piston with rod. Post case is thread-jointed to hub. Trust shoe is secured on rod end and made up of check-type grouser. To increase adhesion to bearing surface, thin rubber layer is press-cured to shoe surface. To prevent rod turning about its axis forced by tangential force acting on said shoe in wheel rotation, piston is provided with retainer that may move in groove made in post case. To allow deformation of air tube on running over obstacle, rod thrusts via piston on spring with rigidity equal to that of air tire. Hub, post case, rod, piston and shoe are made from aluminium alloy.
EFFECT: higher cross-country capacity.
