FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: antifriction composition contains the following (wt %): dry lubricant (0.5-7.0) in form of graphite or molybdenum disulphide, ground basalt and/or carbon fibre (2.0-6.0), a modifier selected from a group comprising: N,N'-m-phenylene dimaleimide, N,N'-hexamethylene dimaleimide and N,N'-(methylene-di-p-phenylene)dimaleimide(1.0-5.0), a copolymer of tretrafluoroethylene with hexafluoropropylene (2.0-10.0) and polytetrafluoroethylene. Further enhancement of properties of the composition can be achieved by adding bronze powder in amount of 5.0-30.0 wt %. The composition is made via mechanical mixing of the components. Articles made by cold moulding at pressure 50-60 MPa and then sintering the workpiece at 375±5°C. The time for holding the workpiece at said temperature is determined based on 10 min per 1 mm thickness of the article.
EFFECT: invention increases wear-resistance and mechanical strength of the antifriction composition.
