FIELD: power engineering.

SUBSTANCE: wind-power unit comprises a bearing frame with at least three columns meeting at the top, inside of which there is a generator and a rotor-turbine unit installed coaxially with canvas elements spaced aside from the vertical axis of rotation. On the tope of the frame there is a mechanical lift, below which there is a generator-turbine unit installed as joined with it by a flexible rope traction bar, with an added horizontal tightening rim along the perimetre of canvas elements. The rim rests upon rollers, axes of free rotation of which are at the same level and are radially directed towards a turbine. Axes of rollers are installed in vessels covering columns of the bearing frame capable of angular displacement, which makes it possible to lower the generator-turbine unit down to a wind-power unit foundation for maintenance and protection in extreme weather conditions.

EFFECT: improved conditions of wind-power unit service and its trouble-free operation with higher suitability, strength and reliability.
