FIELD: machine building.

SUBSTANCE: prismatic tank with dual envelopment has outer and inner walls 1, 2 made up of sections of I-beams fitted one onto another and jointed together along lengthwise edges of flanges and butt-jointed by adjacent face surfaces 5. Inner brace rods 3 (extension beams) are jointed to inner wall 2 at joints. Said brace rods 3 are jointed to inner wall 2 by angle pieces 6 extending with smooth taper from joint 5. Outer and inner flanges 7, 8 of beam sections 4 are jointed together by weld seams 10. Connection straps 9 of beam sections 4 are provided with cutouts with openings to avoid contact between outer and inner walls 1, 2 outside of zone of base metal. Inner flange 8 of beam section 4 is provided with trib 12 that makes extension of connection strap 9 between flanges 7, 8. Angle piece 6 is welded to rib 12 while angle piece and rib 12 have second hole 14 arranged nearby inner weld seam 10 between adjacent inner flanges 8.

EFFECT: reduced of fatigue cracks propagation from inner to outer walls, ruled concentration of strains.
