FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: gimbal joint comprises forks, needle bearings 2 and cross 1 with pins and system of lube channels 4, 7 to communicate axial channels in said pins converging at the center of cross 1 with cross orifices receiving grease cup and discharge valve. Cross body channels are divided into two types: channels 7 with grease and channels 4 with filling agent. At critical increase in needle bearing temperature filling agent increases its volume while grease and filling agent are communicated via pistons 5. Note here that, in maintenance, grease replacement in bearing assemblies 2 without gimbal disassembly is carried out automatically.
EFFECT: longer life and better reparability due to automated maintenance.
