FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a composition which changes colour depending on the absorbed radiation dose, and use thereof as a UV radiation dose indicator. Described is a composition which changes colour depending on the absorbed radiation dose. The composition contains (a) an acid-sensitive dye and (b) a photolatent acid - sulphonyl oxime of formula . The invention also describes a method of determining radiation dose and a UV radiation dose indicator using a substrate coated with said composition.
EFFECT: invention provides efficient determination of energy dose onto a substrate having said coating, and determination of critical parts of the coating, for which radiation is insufficiently intense to ensure sufficient curing.
