FIELD: electric engineering.
SUBSTANCE: adapter (11) is designed to connect electrical device (10), for example, switch and etc, with mounting rail (13), which may be located on electrical board. The adapter includes base unit (22), containing the first (29) and second (30) fixtures, distributed along the electrical device to fix this device (10) to adapter (11), and the device (10) may be disconnected from the adapter; and fixing elements (45, 46, 47) of adapter (11) on mounting rail (13) so that it can be disconnected from the rail. At least, only the first (29) or only the second (30) fixing element of adapter (11) may move, at least, between two different given fixed positions allowing for changing distance between the first and second fixing elements.
EFFECT: invention enables fixing devices of various length.
