FIELD: electric engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to converter equipment and may be used for manufacturing controllable electric d.c. drives not imposing high requirements to the speed of operation, and for powering different electric plants not imposing high requirements to pulsation of rectified voltage. The Suchkov's four-phase transformer with three coils (1, 2, 3) of primary winding connected based on "star" arrangement and coupled with the mains phases, and interconnected six coils (4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9) of the secondary windings and coupled with the converter's rectifier cell. Each coil of secondary transformer windings is a side of "hexagon". The rectifier cells (10, 11) of anode group are linked with branches from the half of coil (4, 5) windings by cathodes. The rectifier cell (12, 13) of cathode group are linked with one unit being connected with the ends of coils (6) and (9), and the other unit, connecting the beginnings of coils (7) and (8).
EFFECT: reduced amplitude of rectified voltage pulsation.
