METHOD OF DETERMINING SYNCHRONISATION AND DESYNCHRONISATION OF BRAIN BIOELECTRIC ACTIVITY Russian patent published in 2012 - IPC A61B5/476

Abstract RU 2454172 C1

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine and can be used for analysis of brain bioelectric activity. Electroencephalogram (EEG) is registered, frequency spectrum is calculated by means of Fourier transform. In obtained spectrum maximum extremums and minimum extremums are identified. Values of frequencies, which correspond to said extremums are determined. After that, impact is performed and EEG is registered at this background. From obtained values of extreme frequencies selected is frequency, multiple to frequency of periodic impact with factor of multiplicity k=2n, where n is integer. Synchronisation is determined by increase of amplitude of sugnal, obtained by filtration with narrow-band filter, whose central frequency is set to be equal to frequency of maximum extremum, desynchronisation being determined by decrease of amplitude of signal, obtained by filtration with narrow-band filter, whose central frequency is set to be equal to frequency of minimum extremum.

EFFECT: method extends arsenal of means for determination of synchronisation and desyncronisation of brain bioelectric activity.
