FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: encephalogram is registered and undergoes spectral analysis by the method of continuous wavelet transformation. Frequency power of the encephalogram a is defined at a time moment b by the formula where W (a, b) is a wavelet transformation rate; f (t) is the analysed function; ψ((t-b)/a) is the analysing wavelet. Scalograms based on the wavelet rates are drawn at a parting of [bi, bj] by the formula where V(a1) is a signal scalogram; N is the number of rates; a1 is the wavelet transformation scale. Physiologically relevant frequency ranges are selected at the scalograms on the basis of distance between adjacent local minimums on the scalogram curve. Wavelet power density U for each frequency range and specific wavelet power density are defined.
EFFECT: detection of additional encephalogram parameters with account to individual features of a patient.
