FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of hollow articles, e.g. bottles, flasks, vessels, etc, from preheated thermoplastic preforms by blowing. Proposed plant comprises two blowout units with four-seat mould, one heating furnace with heating lamps and reflecting panels, conveyor to transfer preforms into heating furnace, preform feed and discharge mechanism, and preform in-furnace rotation drive. Note here that said blowout units are arranged opposite each other with heating furnace arranged there between. Heating furnace incorporates PET-preform heating lamps. PET-preform and heating lamps are arranged vertically in said furnace. Said lamps are located opposite every preform on its both sides to make axes of lamps and preform parallel each other.
EFFECT: power savings, simplified design and higher reliability.
