FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used to purify industrial and household wastes as well as in agriculture. The method is realised by bringing a solution containing molybdenum (VI) ions into contact with a sorbent in form of bean husks. Sorption is carried out at pH 2-4 for not less than three hours.
EFFECT: method provides efficient sorption of molybdenum (VI) ions from aqueous solution at a high rate and using agricultural wastes as the sorbent.
