SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a liquid aqueous cleaning composition which thickens by dilution, containing (a) 5-50 wt % surfactant system which thickens by dilution, containing: i) 40-85 wt % C₁₀-C₁₈ alkylsulphate with 1-4 EO groups; ii) 0.01-50 wt % linear alkylbenzene sulphonate; and iii) 0.01-55 wt % C₁₀-C₁₈ alkylamidopropyl betaine; amounting to 100%, (b) 2.5-7.5% magnesium sulphate.

EFFECT: cleaning composition high retention of detergent in the carrier when diluted.
