FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to ethoxylated polyethylene imine of the general structural formula 
(I), in which n has a value that is in the range of 40 to 90, R is selected from hydrogen, C1-C4-alkyl and mixtures thereof, E is C1-C12-alkyl group, X-means a suitable water-soluble counterion. The degree of quaternization of nitrogen atoms contained in the polyethyleneimine backbone is in the range from 1% to 50%. The polyethyleneimine backbone has a weight average molecular weight of 400 to 10,000 g/mol. Ethoxylated polyethyleneimine is used in compositions intended for cleaning hard surfaces, such as hand washing dishes and washing cars.
EFFECT: good gloss and quick drying of the surface.
