FIELD: textile, paper.
SUBSTANCE: cloth for use in a paper-making machine contains warp threads interweaved with weft threads in order to form pockets on the cloth side in contact with the paper sheet. Weft threads are of substantially triangular cross section and are aligned so that their flat surface faces the machine side of the cloth. At the same time the areas, where warp threads are interweaved with weft threads, provide for increased depth of the pocket in the cloth and its volume.
EFFECT: increased depth of the pocket, which in its turn increases thickness of the paper cloth.
