SUBSTANCE: disclosed is a method of realising a status monitoring mechanism in a communication session between a server and a client system in which, during the communication session, application program data are provided for the client system in accessible form only if the client system has an allowable value status monitoring information. The method involves sending a message bearing the new value of status monitoring information for the client system. The method further involves calculating the value of status monitoring information, allowable after sending the message, using input data in form of at least a new value carried in the message, and a data entity supported in the client system.
EFFECT: preventing any client system from supporting the same status as the original client system.
