SUBSTANCE: disclosed is a method of processing a speech signal, based on band-pass filtration of a logarithmic amplitude spectrum with a filter having an uneven pulse response and detecting additional information features in the spectrum of the speech signal. Such features are local positive and negative slopes in the spectrum of the speech signal generated by the frequency response of the voice path.

EFFECT: high stability and fuller description of a speech signal in the frequency domain by detecting in a logarithmic amplitude spectrum additional information features in the spectrum of the speech signal.
