SUBSTANCE: audio processor contains: an envelope determinant for determination of a time envelope part of an initial audio signal; an analyzer for analysis of the time envelope for determination of values of signs of the time envelope; a signal synthesizer for synthesis signal generation, wherein generation contains arrangement of pulses relatively to determined time values, while pulses are weighted using weights derived from amplitudes of the time envelope, related to time values, in which pulses are arranged; and a combining unit for combination of at least a synthesis signal band, which is not included to an initial audio signal, and an initial audio signal for obtainment of an audio signal with an improved frequency characteristic.

EFFECT: increase in the quality of perception by means of gap-filling content adaptive to a generation signal or unprocessed patch content for a calculated high-frequency signal, which are adapted by perception to LF-signal.
