FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: cathode mixture for lithium batteries containing active cathode material with content presented in the following formula: LiFe(P1-xO4), where mole fraction (1-x) of phosphorus (P) is in the interval from 0.910 to 0.999 to allow levelling of operating efficiency of active cathode material to lower operating efficiency of active anode material and to increase specific energy of active cathode material, this is technical result of invention. This cathode mixture maximises accumulators operating efficiency, minimises electrode consumption and thus reduces costs for accumulators production. Besides according to this invention, active cathode material in which mole fraction (1-x) of phosphorus (P) is less than 1 contains at the same time Fe2+ and Fe3+ and this does not induce negative structural deformation.
EFFECT: improving ion conductivity, providing perfect current properties, suppressing active voltage drop upon charge or discharge, thus conferring high specific energy to accumulators.
