SUBSTANCE: number of signals of adjacent lines and appropriate groups of matched pixels in signals of the second field lines is increased as matched in time and symmetrically distributed in respect to the centre of a line-to-line gap and the common centre of symmetry to produce the appropriate matrix of matched pixels, produces signals of lines and groups of pixels in signals of the second field lines are matched in time with matrices of matched pixels of the first and third fields, the position of the central pixel of lines of which, in an in-frame space, matched the common line-to-line centre of symmetry of the matrix of matched pixels of the second field, weight of pixels is established in process of averaging before and after the centre of the line-to-line gap of adjacent lines of the second field, inverse to values of amplitudes of signals of line-to-line differences within the limits of the appropriate matrix of matched pixels.
EFFECT: provision of conversion of an interlaced structure of a raster of a television image into a progressive one with doubling of its total number of lines and with restoration of vertical and horizontal accuracy complying with the initial image projection into an in-frame space.
