FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: calcined alloy for ceramic-faced restoration contains, %: nickel - 37 or more; chromium 18-23.5; molybdenum and/or tungsten - 8-16 in all; (i) silicone - 0.5-3.4 and boron 0.31-2.5, or (ii) silicone 2.1-3.4 and boron 0-0.05; niobium 0.1-0.8; manganese 0.1-0.5; carbon 0-0.02; iron, cobalt, copper - 0-30 in all; aluminium, titanium, zirconium, hafnium, yttrium, lanthanum, cerium, other rare-earth metals, calcium, strontium - 0-0.5 in all; beryllium 0-0.3; and vanadium, tantalum and nitrogen - max. 0.1 in all. The presented weight percentages are always specified at total weight of the alloy. What is also presented is ceramic-faced restoration comprising a denture frame made of said alloy, and dental ceramics calcined on the denture frame and having a thermal-expansion coefficient (TEC) falling within the range of 12 to 14·10-6 K-1 (25-500°C).
EFFECT: alloy composition provides a range of useful properties which can be ensured without the use of toxic and cancer-inducing beryllium, low fusion range, unique and easy recognition of the casting moment, high-precision seating of the cast frames, acceptable hardness, applicability of laser welding, high casting characteristics of the alloy; the alloy may be faced by all known facing materials, favourable chemical adhesion of ceramic facing, no calcining deformation ensured by high thermal stability.
