FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to separation of gas and fine fluid drops and may be used in power engineering, oil, chemical and gas industries. Coalescing cartridge comprises carcass and layers of coalescing materials secured thereon and layers of flexible drain element ahead of and/or between layers of coalescing material. Said flexible drain elements are made from corrugated plate with distance between crimps making 1 to 100 mm. Note here that coating to reduce plate wettability is applied on said corrugated plate.
EFFECT: simplified production, longer life.
