SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the construction of means for separating gas and fine liquid droplets and can be used in power engineering, oil refining, oil, chemical and gas industries. The coalescing chuck contains a frame and layers of coalescing material fixed on it and layers of a flexible drainage element located in front of the layers or between layers of coalescing material, and the flexible drainage elements are made of a corrugated plate, the distance between the corrugations of which is from 1 to 100 mm, while on the corrugated the plate is coated to reduce its wettability. As a coalescing material, a two-layer nonwoven material is used, made of spunbond obtained by the technology of thermal bonding, while a reinforcing mesh made of polyamide fiber is located between the layers of nonwoven material.

EFFECT: invention increases the mechanical strength of the coalescing chuck while increasing its service life with the same efficiency of use.
