SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the industry of ceramic materials, primarily to composition of a mixture for producing porous aggregate. The composition for producing porous aggregate contains the following in wt %: low-melting montmorillonite clay 70-90, solid oil-containing wastes from separating oil sludge containing the following in wt %: resins 5.4, asphaltenes 5.6, paraffins 9.0; heavy oil 80.0, 10-30.
EFFECT: high coefficient of structural quality of the porous aggregate.
