SUBSTANCE: invention relates to compositions for making ceramic brick. The ceramic composition for making light brick which contains moderately plastic loess-like loam and mildly plastic low-melting clay, is characterised by that it additionally contains solid oil-containing wastes from separating oil sludge, containing the following in wt %: resins 4.6; asphaltenes 5.2; paraffins 8.8; heavy oil 81.4, with the following ratio of components in wt %: moderately plastic loess-like loam 35-55; mildly plastic low-melting clay 10-20; solid oil-containing wastes from separating oil sludge 35-45.

EFFECT: low density of articles.
