FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: according to the method a concentrated stream of energy is used for evaporation of source material of molybdenum and copper, and their condensation on the contact surface is carried out. The starting materials are used interchangeably, first copper foil weighing 4…5 mg with the sample powder of molybdenum weighing 0,8…0,9 g, then one copper foil weighing 175…185 mg. Evaporation is carried out by passing electric current to the foil, causing its electrical explosion. Condensation of explosion products at the contact surface is carried out at a value of power of the absorbed density on the hardened surface of 4.5…5.0 and 3.7…4.2 GWt/m2, respectively.
EFFECT: increased electric-erosion resistance of coating and its adhesion to the base.
