FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: method involves evaporation of base materials of tungsten and copper and their condensation on contact surface. First, copper foil with weight of 4…5 mg with tungsten powder with weight of 0.9…1 g, and then, only copper foil with weight of 175…185 mg is used in turn as base materials. At that, evaporation is performed at passage of electric current on foil, which causes electric explosion, and condensation of explosion products to contact surface is performed at value of absorbed power density on strengthened surface of 4.5…5.0 and 8.1…9.0 GW/m2 respectively.
EFFECT: improving electroerosion resistance of coating and its adhesion to base.
