FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: method includes electric explosion of the composite electrically exploded conductor out of two-layer flat copper enclosure with weight 60-360 mg and molybdenum powder core with weight 0.5-2.0 of enclosure weight, pulse multi-phase plasma jet formation out of the explosion products, by jet melting of the surface of copper electric contact at absorbed power density 4.5-6.5 GW/m2, precipitation of the surface of the explosion products, and formation on it of the composite coating Mo-Cu, further pulse periodic electron-beam treatment of the coating surface at absorbed energy density 40-60 J/cm2, pulse width is 150-200 mcs, number of pulses - 10-30.
EFFECT: production of composite molybdenum-copper coatings with filled microcrystalline structure having high degree of structure homogenisation of their surface layer, with surface full gloss and high electric erosion resistance.
