FIELD: engines and pumps.

SUBSTANCE: decompression braking device in endothermic engine (1) contains head with at least one axis (2) of balance arm, on this axis a set of eccentric bushings corresponding to number of balance arms (3) is installed eccentrically with possibility of turn. Each balance arm (3) is provided with pusher (4) to actuate one or more outlet valves (5). Cam shaft (30) is designed with possibility to actuate a set of balance arms (3). Device includes drive element installed outside axis (2) of balance arm and connected to bushings by connection devices. Corresponding turn of bushings to preset angle value with further displacement of hinge axis of balance arms (3) corresponds to each displacement of drive element. Connecting devices contain a set of levers (9) installed on bushings, a set of pins (8) installed on drive element and corresponding set of connection elements, each of them is hinged between lever of a set of levers (9) and pin of a set of pins (8). A set of levers (9), a set of pins (8) and a set of connecting elements form four-link mechanism. Each pin (8) has a ball joint end gearing with corresponding reciprocal end made on corresponding connecting element. Hinged connection between ball joint end (8) of pin and reciprocal end of connecting element is performed by means of connection with tough tension.
