FIELD: weapons and ammunition.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to an armour protection of improved survivability designed to protect checkpoints of stationary and mobile installation, areas of military equipment concentration, vulnerable environmentally hazardous and explosive facilities against bullets of small arms with a steel core. The armour protection comprises cocking screens made of wire with hardness of not below the bullet core hardness. The wire has a plastic coating or braiding. The coating and braiding are made of a material containing aramid fibres.
EFFECT: higher survivability of latticed screens.
