FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: this invention relates to body protection device. Particularly, it relates to materials absorbing power and used in protective helmets, knee-caps, elbow-caps, etc, and to method of their production. Proposed body comprises first material 20 with matrix of power absorbing cells each being made of tube 22 and second material 30, a plastic material, jointed to the first one by hot shaping and glue 40. Said glue features melting point below those of said first and second materials 20, 30 to allow relative displacement in hot shaping. Proposed method comprises jointing first material 20 with matrix of power absorbing cells each being made of tube 22 to second material 30, a plastic material, by hot shaping and glue 40. Said glue features melting point below those of said first and second materials 20, 30 to allow relative displacement in hot shaping.
EFFECT: efficient absorption of 80% of power.
