FIELD: fire-fighting means.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of firefighting. The fire extinguishing device contains a membrane in the form of a truncated cone or a cylinder made of a noncombustible solid flexible material. The upper base of the casing is fixed to the upper platform, made in the form of a circular flange, and lower - to the lower made in the form of a ring of round or polygonal cross-section. Flange is attached by traction to the element for movement of the casing by mechanised means. The mechanism of recovery of the casing to fight a fire has a block mechanism that contains three branches of the rope passed through three equal holes made in the flange, whose centers lie on the same circle and placed at an angle of 120° to each other. The upper ends of the rope are firmly fastened in the common point lying on the traction, and the lower - on drums, arranged and secured in a horizontal plane of the lower platform. Each of the drums is equipped with a drive connected via communication lines to the control unit. To control the speed of unstranding, the electromagnetic braking devices are provided, made in the form of rods clamping the moving branch of the rope to the surface of the hole. As a fire extinguishing device, the generator of aerosol, powder or gas composition is used, which is made in the form of housing with the outlet and a charge of smoke-forming composition with a unit of initiation placed in it, connected through a fuse to the control unit.
