FIELD: process engineering.

SUBSTANCE: method relates to gas mix separation by means of semipermeable membranes. Proposed method comprises feeding initial gas mix into high-pressure chamber of the first gas-separation membrane module. Portion of gas flow not penetrated through membrane is fed from high-pressure chamber of said module into that of second module. Another portion of gas flow not penetrated through membrane is fed for blowing first module low-pressure chamber. Gas flow penetrated through low-pressure chamber of first module is directed for recovery. Gas flow not penetrated through second membrane module is fed to consuming appliance. Note here that gas flow penetrated through low-pressure chamber of second membrane module is directed into initial gas flow feed pipeline. Pressure is reduced by vacuum-compressor in second module low-pressure chamber. Gas escaping therefrom is compressed.

EFFECT: higher process efficiency.
