FIELD: machine engineering.
SUBSTANCE: membrane gas separation method comprises compressing feed gas mixture in compressor stages, feeding gas from the intermediate compression stage into a gas separating device with membrane elements, dividing the gas mixture flow into permeate and retentate, increasing the permeate pressure, and feeding the permeate to the intermediate compression stage preceding the gas separating device. The permeate pressure is increased by a first shut-off control device, a portion of permeate which left the gas separating device is discharged through a second shut-off control device, a portion of retentate after gas separation is fed to the gas separating device inlet. The membrane gas separation plant is also claimed.
EFFECT: increased amount of gas mixture fed to the gas separating device and simplified control of parameters of the gas separation plant by the concentration of retentate and performance, reduced energy costs for increasing the pressure of permeate which left the gas separating device.
