FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to construction engineering and may be used for processing flat surfaces of plates in their thickness calibration. Proposed method comprises lengthwise feed of plate and rotation of composite plain cutter with blades swinging in horizontal plane for hobbing at forward and back strokes by cutter blade two faces at a time. Stroke part is limited to comply with plate width.
EFFECT: higher quality, precision and efficiency.
