FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of spherical powders for sporting rifles. Proposed method comprises feeding 18-22 wt %-graphite suspension after squeezing water therefrom into spherical powder, said suspension being composed of one part of graphite and six parts of water, feeding said mix into accumulating bin and, further, using feeding auger to feed said mix into pneumatic transfer line at compressed air pressure of 0.5-4.5 kgf/cm2 and temperature of 50-100°C and, via settling cyclone, into drier.
EFFECT: uniform distribution of graphite over surface of powder elements, lower costs, automated process.
