FIELD: production of spherically grained pyroxylin powders for small arms. SUBSTANCE: the method consists in formation of spherical particles of powder, their graphite grazing, phlegmatization and drying, the powder spherical particles are formed with a bulk density within 620 to 720 kg/cu. m, phlegmatization is accomplished by dibutyl phthalate during 50 to 70 minutes at a temperature of 90 to 98 C, and graphite grazing is conducted simultaneously with drying at a temperature of 80 to 95 C during 180 to 240 minutes. EFFECT: enhanced ballistic characteristics of powder featuring high electrostatic properties and looseness. 1 dwg, 1 tbl
