SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of producing bis(3,5-dimethylpyrazol-4-yl)methane. The disclosed method involves reaction of bis(3,5-dimethylpyrazol-4-yl)methane and one of the following inorganic acids: hydrochloric acid, sulphuric acid or orthophosphoric acid to form a salt and thermal treatment at temperature 200-230°C for 5-10 minutes, followed by neutralisation with an alkaline solution to form the end product.
EFFECT: disclosed method accelerates and simplifies the process while reducing the cost of the end product.
