FIELD: metal sorbents.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to preparation of chelating polymer sorbents and can be used in analytical chemistry and environmental protection sphere to recover, separate, and concentrate heavy and rare metals from natural and industrial waters. Sorbent represents oligomer containing bis(pyrazole-1-yl)methane fragment of general formula: wherein n denotes degree of polymerization; R (side substituents) are hydrogen atoms or alkyls; X is bridge linkage, notably bond or group (CH2)m with m=2-6, p-phenylene, or 4,4'-diphenylene.
EFFECT: increased sorption characteristics with regard to lanthanide and heavy metal ions.
