FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: lighting device (L) has several light source modules (20), each having a light-conducting plate (SP) (1) and a plurality of light sources (IS) (21). The SP (1) has an illumination region (OS) (4) through which light beams incident from the IS (21) are emitted outwards, and a light-conducting region (SO) (3) through which light beams incident from the IS (21) are directed towards the OS (4), wherein SP (3) and OS (4) are adjoined to each other. The OS (4) is divided into a plurality of light-emitting sections (9) by slit sections (8) which pass along the direction of optical axes of IS (21) and limit passage of light. At least one of the IS (21) corresponds to each of the light-emitting sections (9) and they adjoin each other along the SP (3). IS modules (20) adjoin each other along at least a first direction along which lie the light-emitting sections (9) in the OS (4). Also, there is a slit section (8) made at least in part of the space between light-emitting sections (9) lying between IS modules (20), which are adjacent along a first direction.
EFFECT: maintaining strength by combining light-conducting blocks, reduced scattering of light into the neighbouring region and ensuring uniformity of light emission.
