FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: reinforced bar made of material with a yield plateau is exposed to strengthening by its twisting around a longitudinal axis exceeding tensile yield strength of a material of external fibres of a reinforcement bar until a strength limit level is achieved, and while twisting, one end of the reinforcement bar is fixed, and the reinforcement bar is twisted at the other end to form a nonspinning helical shape along the entire bar length. Higher material strength potential is achieved by creation of a strength margin made up of strength of peripheral fibres achieved by drawing against twisting and suppression of compressing forces in the central area of the cross section of the reinforcement bar, and also as a result of operation to the level of yield strength of this central part of the cross section.
EFFECT: higher potential of reinforcement bar strength.
