MANUFACTURING METHOD OF METAL STRIP WHICH CONTAINS COATING WITH IMPROVED SURFACE QUALITY Russian patent published in 2012 - IPC C23C2/06 

FIELD: metallurgy.

SUBSTANCE: metal strip is passed through melting bath which contains the following components, wt %: aluminium 2 - 8, magnesium 0 - 5, alloying elements - up to 0.3, and zinc and inevitable impurities are the rest; at that, the above bath is maintained at the temperature within 350 to 750°C. Strip with applied coating is blown by means of nozzles feeding the gas to both sides of the strip; after that, coating is cooled down till its complete hardening; at that, the above cooling is performed at the temperature of less than 15°C/s, starting from the temperature at blowing outlet and before the beginning of hardening; after that, at the speed which exceeds or is equal to 15°C/s, between the beginning and the end of its hardening process.

EFFECT: invention allows manufacturing metal strip with corrosion-resistant coating with reduced crimps for Wa_0,8 and improved quality of the surface.
