FIELD: power industry.

SUBSTANCE: water heating from electric power supply in pulse electromagnetic field of spiral anode allows the applicant to reduce the energy costs for heating of circulating solution in heating battery. The effect specified by the applicant is provided due to the fact that anode of heat cell, which is located on cylindrical dielectric bar, is made in the form of spiral with turn step equal approximately to diameter of wire wound about cylindrical dielectric bar (3) which has upper boss (11) for fixation of anode which allows using electronic pulse generator as power supply with adjustable frequency and pulse relative duration of 70-120; at that, gaskets located at connection point of upper and lower covers with housing are used for adjustment of gap between end surface of cylindrical dielectric bar and cathode. When the solution passes through heat cell to heating battery, it is subject to action of electric pulses which occur between anode and cathode in dielectric gap (18) during selection of ratio of pulse duration to interpulse interval of 70-120.

EFFECT: increasing heating efficiency.
