FIELD: power industry.
SUBSTANCE: metal heat pipe of flat type, which contains housing, capillary-porous wick formed on internal surfaces of opposite walls of the housing with formation of a gap in its central part, in which system of steam outlet channels is arranged and formed with one or two corrugated and perforated plates consisting of one or several layers of metal mesh on the surface of which there applied is capillary-porous structure from metal powder. Evaporation and condensation zones of heat pipe, including steam outlet channels, special channels for liquid transportation and working surfaces of the main wick, which are located in one housing, are arranged in mutually perpendicular planes.
EFFECT: enlarging the possibilities of using the heat pipe of flat type.
