SUBSTANCE: belt fastener contains two mutually locking parts in the form of a fastener and connected with a belt of the buckle; the fastening is made with a through inner hole for the belt, with the arcuate side ledges and a gap between the arcuate side ledges with the size equal to or greater than two thicknesses of the belt, but less than the width of the belt, and the buckle is made with a transverse width of greater width of the through inner hole for the belt in the fastening. Thereat the fastener is adapted to attach to a belt, purse, briefcase, box, tool container, a means of carrying or transporting goods or to other product requiring a temporary connection, and the fastening and the buckle contain means of mutual fixation at their closure, for example made in the form of located on the buckle the T-shaped protrusion and the T-shaped hole in the fastener, magnets, "Velcro", clips, latches or other means of mutual fixation similar by performed functions.

EFFECT: increased convenience of fixing.
