FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of processing organochlorine wastes via liquid-phase catalytic hydrodechlorination in the presence of a heterogeneous catalyst in the medium of an inert high-boiling hydrocarbon solvent with molar ratio hydrogen : organochlorine waste equal to 20-40:1, while recycling the solvent which contains unreacted wastes and separation of gaseous reaction products using existing methods, characterised by that the process is carried out at temperature 280-350°C in the presence of a fused Ni-Al-Ti catalyst which is pre-activated by leaching, wherein the inert solvent used is a solvent with boiling point 350-500°C, and excess thereof with respect to the processed organochlorine wastes is kept in the range of 5-10:1.

EFFECT: use of the present method increases technological effectiveness of the process by avoiding the need for periodic restoration of catalytic activity of the used catalyst.
