FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to herniology. Incision of skin and subcutaneous cellular tissue is performed, hernial sac is isolated and processed, hernial defect is exposed. Dissection of aponeurosis on its edge and plasty with preperitoneal or axillary location of synthetic mesh prosthesis are carried out. Rectangular synthetic mesh prosthesis is modified by making cuts from its four edges towards opposite edges, with cutting out straps. Straps are brought through muscular-aponeurotic edges of hernial ring from inside outside with sewing of each strap with section of synthetic mesh prosthesis near hernial defect edge after tightening. Edge of dissected on periphery of hernial defect aponeurosis is also sewn to prosthesis, in projection of cut out of it straps, on edge of hernial defect. When each strap is sewn to prosthesis, edges of dissected on periphery, hernial defect of aponeurosis are sewn to it with the same thread.
EFFECT: method makes it possible to increase treatment efficiency, when it is impossible to bring together edges of hernial defect, prevents cutting of sutures, simplifies operation techniques and reduces time of surgery.
