FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to ophthalmology, and is intended for treatment of convergent concomitant alternating strabismus in case when anomalous correspondence of retina and functional scotoma are present. For this purpose recession of internal rectus muscles is carried out in accordance with conventional method, but movement of muscle backwards is realised on different distance: on leading eye - on shorter, on non-leading - on longer.
EFFECT: method makes it possible to eliminate angle of strabismus and obtain binocular vision in patients with anomalous correspondence of retina and functional scotoma.
